KICK IT WITH KENZO

the cult labels teams up with vans on some print-perfect sneakers.

Vans might be a surf and skate staple, but turns out even fashion crowd ringleaders have a special history with the sporty brand, too. California natives Humberto Leon and Carol Lim claim they own "too many pairs to count" of the iconic sneakers, so it's only fitting the Kenzo designers (who also own a little retailer called Opening Ceremony-know it?) have teamed up with the company on a limited-edition line of shoes.

Available for both guys and girls, they'll be unveiled in three monthly shipments- May, June, and July. The first batch features Kenzo's SS12 prints splashed across The Era, otherwise known as original Vans skate shoe.

You can get them for yourself at Kenzo.com and at select retailers starting mid-May... but for now, dust off your skateboard (or not) and get a first look here.
