LOOKBOOK: ALICE + OLIVIA

how girly can you go?!

by faran krentcil

So girls, it looks like we've got a theme:

Lauren Moffatt's Spring lookbook was called "The Honeymooners" (see it here) and we're dubbing Stacey Bendet's shots for Alice + Olivia "A Light in the Piazza" - her flirty, flippy dresses are perfect for spinning around (and around and around) on a foreign cappuccino buzz.

But even if you're not packing your bags for a Ciao Italia adventure, you can still enjoy Bendet's circle skirts and block prints the color of fruit salad. We're especially partial to her contrast evening gown, which mixes a downtown trend - high-contrast stripes on a t-shirt - with the black chiffon often seen at New York opera galas.  Just don't blame us if we wear it with Doc Martens to a Dead Weather concert - clothes may make the man, but even if they're as cute as Ms. Bendet's, they can't really change the woman.
