Whether it was the intention or not Cheap Monday paved the way for affordable clothing to be synonymous with coolness. Their background is in black denim, but they've expanded into pretty much everything else since the time we remember slipping on our first pair—from a collaboration with Reebok to their "cheap art" initiative.
Ann-Sofie Back is still the head designer for Cheap Monday and this season's line was presented in a skate park—both street and skate style were the inspiration behind it all. She didn't train her models to ride the ramps and half-pipes, all of the best skater references are right there in the denim and tees. Plus baseball caps and pointy-toe flats, which are a fall must for us no matter what style or era we're channeling.
