a quick and tidy lesson in extreme layering.
It's already a given that when Madewell's fall clothes come into stores, you'll want them, you'll buy them, the end. So let's examine their latest lookbook not for the clothes - which are easy to like - but the layering.
The hip and easy brand has almost outdone itself with placing their pieces over, under, and through all the others - and this is even before Alexa Chung releases her own Madewell collection, which will no doubt be styled to the height of street style envy...
Sweatshirt, belt, pleated skirt. Layering pieces = 3.
