Wearing your heart on your sleeve can be challenging for some, but Lorde has no problem showing off her emoji-tions. In a photo Ellie Goulding posted to Instagram (and subsequently deleted), the resemblance between the salsa dancer emoji and New Zealand singer-songwriter is uncanny. And although it would appear that the 18-year-old would feel a kindred spirit to the red dressed dame, it appears she feels a closer connection to a different emoji entirely.

"My favourite one is the painting of the nails," she said in a 2014 interview with the Australian Broadcasting Company. "It's so sassy. It's like: 'I don't care. I can do what I want.'" Which leaves us with one question: Could the pink polished hand belong to the dancer?? This possibility is blowing our minds.
