Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show Debut
how to kiss those tuesday blues goodbye.
The Curator:
Steff Yotka, Associate Web Editor
The Look:
I think this furry denim look from the Marques Almeida fall '14 fashion show in London this morning would do a lot to get rid of my February blues. Because despite today being the (seemingly) one millionth day of winter, that's nothing a little fur and denim can't fix. Though I might have to trade the stilettos for all-weather boots.
The Face:
It's snowing outside my window as a write this, and while the snow is not so bad, the chapped skin that comes with it is terrible: The solution: Jergens Skin Firming Lotion. The skin-firming formula is more intense than the regular cream, so it keeps winter skin extra-moisturized. It's pretty much the only salvation at this point.
The News:
Jimmy Fallon Debuts on The Tonight Show
And it's hysterical. Catch him and Will Smith performing "The Evolution of Hip Hop Dancing" in the video below, and then get ready to cry with laughter.
The Inspiration:
Proving there's an upside to winter is Ryan McGinley's haunting photograph,
Dead Winter, 2012.
If you can't already tell, I'm really, truly, desperately ready for spring, but I'm taking this photograph as a note to not complain
too
much about the cold because it can still be beautiful.
The Song:
"If She Wants Me" - Belle and Sebastian
My summertime jam and escape mechanism at the moment is
Dear Catastrophe Waitress
on repeat. July, here I come.
