Mikky Ekko Sent Us a Bunch of Cool Tour Photos

The life of a traveling musician isn't all groupies and partying.more

Or if it is, Mikky Ekko did a good job of hiding it from us. The Louisiana alt-popster volunteered to snap some pics for NYLON Guys as he made the rounds earlier this month with Alt-J, and in the photos below, there's nary a trace of debauchery. The one shot from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, suggests there might have been some late-night hijinks in NYC, but by and large, the man who made his name co-writing and singing on Rihanna's "Stay" seems to have made it through the tour unscathed.

And that's good news, because Ekko drops his debut album, Time, on January 20, and that will likely mean lots more touring. You've got to pace yourself—especially when you're about to blow up.
