It's hard to choose our favorite part about Miley Cyrus' look from last night's Fashion Group International event. The singer's sequined Marc Jacobs gown? Check. Her slinky--but not overly sexy-- vibes? Yep. The fact that the star finally seems to be over the "Miley tongue," even though nobody else can stop talking about it? Yeah, that too.

But even if you don't have a black tie party on the agenda anytime soon, one thing that you can copy from Cyrus right now is her eye makeup. One part seafoam and one part light gray, her green smokey eye is gorgeous enough to erase any horrible '80s throwbacks from your mind immediately, and instead propel into dreamy-cool mermaid territory. Ariel, don't be too jealous...

SHADOW IT: NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Mint Green Shimmer and Charcoal Plum- $34

Apply the green shimmery shadow liberally on your lids. For extra definition, carefully dab a bit of plum in the crease. 

COAT IT: L'Oreal Paris Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara in Blackest Black- $8.95

Swipe on a couple of coats of this ultra-black mascara (two on top, one on bottom) to give your eyes a '60s mod kick. 

LINE IT: Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner, $19

Starting from the inner corner, run this skinny brush as close to the lash line as possible. Then go over the second half--toward the outer side--again, with an extra flick on the end. It's waterproof, so the liner won't budge as soon as you put it on. Hey, if it lasts throughout Miley Cyrus' crazy schedule, it'll work for us.
