Self-Portrait, the cool-girl label designed by Han Chong, has been on the radar of the fashion set for a few years, and each new collection only seems to amplify Chong’s vision and voice.
A native of Malaysia and a graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins, Chong has a great understanding of silhouette—as in, you’ve likely spotted his dresses on bloggers as you scroll through your Instagram feed.
He may be best known for clothing, but his accessories are just as cool. That’s why we’re currently obsessing over one of his new releases: the Susa heel.
The shoe has a low heel and pointed toe, but these aren't anything like the boring kitten heels that share the same features. This heel is a chunky, square shape with a metallic finish, and the pointed toe adds a girly touch.
Alternating ribbon and suede with silver hardware, the shoes start above the top of the foot and go all the way up around the ankles, adding a more rock 'n' roll feel to them.
