Mykki Blanco Announces Debut Album With A New Song

Mykki Blanco's debut album has been years in the making. After storming the scene in 2012 with "Wavvy," Blanco released a few EPs before jumping into the performance art scene. Come September 16, Blanco's debut album, Mykki, will finally (finally!) be released. 

"The Plug Won't" is the second song to be lifted from the project. It's a startling, drug-addled track that courts darkness. "I'm the truth," Blanco raps. "I'm a savage." The chorus flirts with R&B before descending down into the depths of Blanco's brain. Like the first single, "High School Never Ends," Blanco's fearless storytelling hits hard. "It's been a long ride," Blanco writes on Facebook, "but after a run of mixtapes and street releases, I'm proud to announce that my debut album Mykki will be coming out September 16th on Dogfood Music Group/!K7."
