Naeem Khan Made A Disco Party Out Of His Bridal Show

And sent out out plenty of non-traditional bridal looks

by Irina Grechko

In the last few years, Naeem Khan has firmly established himself as a designer who puts out bridal looks that are as unconventional as they are stop-you-in-your-tracks stunning. He created a middle ground—with royal-like caped gowns decked out in feathers and paired with septum rings (yes!), swishy fringed minidresses shown with thigh-high boots, and silk thread-embroidered dresses in unexpected silhouettes—and continues to tread and expand it in a way that's entirely his own. This season, fortunately for us, was no different.

For his Fall 2018 collection, he sent out Spanish-influenced looks (that have become his signature) that boasted the most intricate of embroideries, exquisite lace, and bold punches of color. The limelight-stealers came in the form of the show opener, a plunging '70s-esque lace jumpsuit, a long-sleeve embroidered crop top paired with a flowy tulle skirt, and a layered raffia embroidered gown paired with a lace-and-fringe veil; in true Naeem Khan form, the rest of the looks were styled with floral headpieces and shoulder-grazing chandelier earrings.

The highlight of the show for the attendees, though, came when Khan closed the show with a slew of disco-dancing models dressed in fringe-y and sparkly dresses perfect for dancing the night away at the after-party.

Swoon over all of the daring looks from the new collection, below.
