nick jonas dropped a sexy new track

but it might not be finished yet

Nick Jonas, like many other former Disney stars, has shed his family-friendly image and his purity ring in exchange for a solo career and a requisite no-longer-in-a-boy-band buzzcut. And while chart-topping singles like his summer party anthem “Jealous” and the more recent “Levels” give off a standard pop music vibe, Jonas is diving into deeper, sexier R&B vibes with his latest, “Area Code.”

Debuted on Soundcloud, the singer’s new track shares a similar quality with The Weeknd’s “The Hills,” with a mellow beat and seductive lyrics—a definite departure from Jonas’s earlier, pumped-up singles. And the song isn’t quite yet a final product, he shares. The track is captioned with a simple, “I need someone to put a verse on this….” making it pretty clear that the JoBro needs the assistance of a rapper to make this song Top 40-ready. And we have to agree with Jonas’s logic—a couple clever lines could easily make this low key song a whole lot more party-ready.

So, um, Drake...are you game?
