I’ve been fixated on argyle sweaters since I discovered the "Metallica" variety last year, and ever since, they’ve been integrated into my wardrobe. Leave it to Calvin Klein Collection designer Francisco Costa to interpret them best in this skirt/sleeveless turtleneck combo.
THE FACE:
Metallic eyes and crimson lips at Anna Sui
I’ve been known to rock a bright red lip (Tom Ford’s Wild Ginger, if you must know) and a metallic teal eye (courtesy of Nars’ Duo Cream Eyeshadow in Burn it Blue), but never at the same time. No longer!

This newly-minted Olympic gold medalist—and her incredible ride on the halfpipe---has been on my mind for the last 24 hours.
The New York Times
reported that her parents sold off their herd of cows, one by one, to fund her career, and the payoff has been huge. She has such great energy--a total NYLON girl. I’ve got to get on a board this season...

Pure Heroine
reminds me, in one way, of one of my all-time top albums, Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black"---every week, I seem to have identified a new favorite song. For the moment, it's "400 Lux," which has been on constant rotation. I keep hoping to see Lorde at a fashion show, but nothing yet. Yet!
