“Say Cheese!”

Every day, amazing talent passes through our glittery-pink NYLON doors, from new bands to rising stars to your favorite It Girls. While we could just write their words down, let’s be honest... a picture’s worth a thousand of them. Here’s who visited us.

They say that time flies when you're having fun, which could explain why we're shocked that it's already the end of August. Although we're sad to see the summer come to an end, we managed to look back on this past month and smile at all the great memories we shared with our August guests. Thanks to them, the end of the summer was more than just bearable—it was unforgettable.

This August, the cast of Patti Cake$ told us all about the phenomenal women who inspired their film, while Portugal. The Man kept us moving and grooving all week long. Ella Vos set our world on fire with her blazing indie anthems, Durand Jones & the Indications had us all in our feelings with their soulful performance, and Izzy Bizu uplifted our spirits one Thursday morning by giving us a much-needed dose neo-soul vibes.

Illustrator and author Nicole Georges came by to draw an adorable portrait of ‎senior video editor Tina Vaden's beloved pup Esteban and reveal details about her graphic novel, Fetch. The legendary Tori Amos also gave us the inside scoop on her highly anticipated forthcoming album, Native Invader, while Allie X transported us to a world full of dark pop magic.

Click through the gallery, below, to see our faves from this month, and be sure to check back in September to see who comes by!
