Hey there, loyal readers! It's been a while since we gave you all an inside look at all the amazing things going on here in our SoHo offices, but we're back, and better than ever. These past few months have been filled with some crappy weather, but luckily, our guests have lifted our moods.
Okay Kaya serenaded us with some stripped-down tunes, while Gabrielle Aplin told us all about her unapologetic pop journey. Nina Nesbitt explained the meaning behind some of her most popular tunes and even gave us an adorable cover of Camila Cabello's "Into It." Years and Years crooner Olly Alexander revealed how hooking up with a straight man inspired the band's latest tune, while Tinashe showed us what was inside her bag. We unpacked why Sunflower Bean's Julia Cumming, Nick Kivlen, and Jacob Faber are right where they are supposed to be, while queens Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, Miz Cracker, Monét X Change, and Aquaria of Ru Paul's Drag Race served us Mean Girls reenactment realness.
Kimbra gave us a powerful, stripped-down performance of her hit "Everybody Knows" off of her forthcoming record; Dream Wife rocked, rolled, and broke our hearts; and Muslim Girl's Meriam Meraay moderated a talk in celebration of Muslim Women's Day with Ladin Awad, Samanta Birto, and Sana Ashraf.
