Brooklyn-based husband and wife duo, Scot and Jacq Tatelman, are the brains behind STATE, the bag line designed for the greater good and that always “has the backs” of children in America. The line, which is comprised of backpacks and totes (and adorable pins) for men, women, and children, was created to address the needs of underprivileged children in America. With every single purchase, STATE hand-delivers a backpack—filled with essential school supplies—to a child in need.

As if you needed any more convincing that this brand is awesome, Beyoncé is a fan. STATE collaborated with #BeyGOOD, Beyoncé’s philanthropic initiative, to provide more than 2,000 students, in six cities, with new backpacks for the school year. Bey even created a custom bag for the collab.
