how to trick your brain into thinking you’re on vacation

watch out for that toucan!

by marcy huang

If your 9-to-5 is giving you major cubicle claustrophobia, whisk your wardrobe away on vacation with bold, colorful clothing that’ll remind you of lands, far, far away. Designer Maddy Mcindoe originally started Mcindoe Designs after being inspired by a trip to the Amazon, and the line’s bright, tropical prints will make you think you’re in paradise.

We love how Mcindoe’s designs don’t take themselves too seriously. The bright, cartoonish, hand-drawn prints culminate in a brand that epitomizes what it means to be young and playful. And if you aren’t used to wearing fun colors and crazy patterns, no need to be scared. Because the shapes and styles of the garments are simple and straightforward, the items still work for more conservative dressers.
