Opening Ceremony Just Made Mickey Mouse High Fashion

Fashion Month came to a close with “The Happiest Show On Earth”

If you thought Fashion Month ended after Tuesday’s shows in Paris, think again. Opening Ceremony closed out this season truly in the best way possible: by taking over California's Disneyland.

Showcasing its Spring 2018 collection in Mickey’s Toontown, the NYC-based brand hosted a two-part show dubbed “The Happiest Show On Earth.” The first half debuted the new spring collection while the second presented an entirely Disney-themed capsule to celebrate Mickey’s upcoming 90th birthday. Mickey printed gowns, coats, tops, and skirts, mouse ear-inspired cap sleeves, and furry handbags all made their way down the runway, paired with OC’s interpretation of the grandpa sneaker (hell yes).

Naturally, Disney’s two most famous mice joined designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon for their final bow—Mickey donning a black, white, and green varsity jacket, Minnie in an allover polka dot look in the same color scheme.

Feeling some serious FOMO for not being in Disneyland last night? Don’t worry, the collection is already available to shop at both Opening Ceremony and Disney.
