Panic! At The Disco’s Cover Of The Weeknd’s “Starboy” Is Everything

Look what you’ve done

Panic! at the Disco's Brendon Urie is, perhaps, one of the most talented vocalists of the 2000s. He's got the range. This week, he showed that range off during a recent visit to BBC's Radio 1 Live Lounge, where he and his band took a stab at The Weeknd's recent single "Starboy." It is nothing short of everything.

Urie matches The Weeknd's Abel Tesfaye's falsetto rather perfectly. It brings to mind P!ATD's cover of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," which shook audiences when they started incorporating it into their tour set a few years ago. Urie isn't Freddie Mercury, but his theatrics sure hold a candle to Mercury's.

P!ATD are busy touring their new album, Death of a Bachelor. We caught up with Urie as he prepared for the tour in our August 2016 issue. Panic!'s made a name for themselves writing sins, but an album of covers wouldn't be such a terrible idea.
