Meet The Creative Genius Behind Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” Choreography

Her name is PARRI$

by Sydney Gore

Last October, Justin Bieber shook up the world when he dropped his music video for "Sorry." The saturated visual masterpiece was choreographed and directed by Parris Goebel, a 24-year-old artist hailing from New Zealand. Now, Goebel is ready to break out on her own as PARRI$ with her latest single, "Nasty."

The video places PARRI$ popping and locking it down in her natural habitat in the quaint outdoors surrounded by her super fly posse of dancers. The neutral, flesh-toned wardrobe is basically to die for, especially the fluffy white (and hopefully faux) fur coat that makes her look even more like a natural badass.

"The concept was to embrace the natural feel of New Zealand, and I wanted to shoot on a farm while the sun was setting," she told The FADER. "All the dancers—who are part of my core squad—were wearing clothing that was made to feel fresh and raw to represent the beautiful outdoors of our country."

"Nasty" is featured on her forthcoming RUN & TELL YOUR FRIENDS EP. Watch the sick video for this banger, above.
