Katelyn Tarver’s Top Priority Is Her Music

Katelyn Tarver took over The Grove last month for our last installment of the #Playlisted series and brought the metaphorical house down with her set, which was a mixture of upbeat pop jams and low-key ballads. She’s been singing her whole life, but says, "I didn’t really think of [music] as a career path until I found myself on [American Juniors], and then I was hooked. I was like, 'Well I just have to do music now.' That’s it, that’s all.”

Since then, Tarver has released a handful of albums and EPs and has dabbled in acting—she was on the Nickelodeon show Big Time Rush and is currently starring opposite The Rock in Ballers. But music is her number one, and even though she’s been doing it for a while now, we can tell it's just the beginning for her.
