designer to know: prism by anna laub
shades, swimsuits, and bags for all your sunshine days.
"Four eyes" usually isn't said as a compliment, but you know what? Leave it to fashion editor-turned-designer Anna Laub to totally change that.
Since 2009 her brand Prism has won a cult following for its stylish, directional frames--think twists on the retro cat-eye that somehow manage to flatter pretty much any face shape--so even if you have 20/20 vision, you'll want to wear these specs. Just trust us on this one.
Over the seasons she's expanded from solely glasses into swim, footwear, and bags, and all of these items were on display at the label's presentation over the weekend at The Standard Hotel. Models lounged near the hot tub at Le Baron and chilled under umbrellas on the rooftop, making it arguably the most relaxed fashion show we've seen this season. From the sunnies to the bathing suits (pale pink bikinis and the olive strapless maillots were our favorites) to the leopard print espadrilles, there's never been a better reason to start planning next summer's beach trip...well, now.
