My parents wouldn't let my brother and I play video games when we were little--but whenever we were at our friends' houses (who had cooler parents, we thought), we'd sneak in about eight rounds of Mario Kart.
The goal? To make it to Rainbow Road, of course. But while it's sort of impossible to find a 2014 version of the game, that's okay, because these sneakers will do the trick. Stamped with tiny rainbows, these white platforms are an ode to the '90s in the best way possible.
So instead of shutting yourself in the playroom in front of the TV, get outside and soak up the sunshine in these instead!
