remake: boy meets world

Twelve years ago, amidst all the Y2K hysteria, a lot of us were freaking out about something totally unrelated to the "millennium bug": It was the end of Boy Meets World. After a seven year run, the story of Cory and Topanga finally came to a close, as the now-married couple packed their bags for New York City--and Mr. Feeny spilled the beans about Cory's real name being Cornelius (a very important moment indeed).

Since then we've been on a strict diet of reruns--until yesterday that is. According to TVLine, "the Disney Channel is in the early stages of developing a Boy Meets World sequel series called  Girl Meets World." The show will presumably focus on Cory and Topanga's preteen daughter.  While it's not confirmed whether or not  Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have signed on, Disney is definitely hoping this will be the case. 

So out of sheer excitement, we decided to dream up our ideal cast for the B.M.W. sequel.
