This week's Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere was filled to the brim with eye candy. But really, Jennifer Lawrence's sheer Dior gown only scratched the surface of what went down on the L.A. red carpet on Monday. The stars of the film may have been front and center, but even Modern Family's Sarah Hyland got in on the action, threatening to steal the spotlight in a shimmery golden Sass & Bide dress (channeling a mockingjay, perhaps?) and super shiny waves. We got the scoop from Hyland's hairstylist, Ryan Richman, who told us how to copy the look.
SHINE IT: Living Proof Prime Style Extender, $20
On damp hair generously apply Living Proof Prime Style Extender to lock in your style. Blow dry hair straight section by section. Set a heavy side part to desired side.
CURL IT: AG Hair Sweet Heat Curling Iron, $79.99
Using a 1" barrel curling iron, curl each section in the same direction. When finished gently brush out your curl into a uniformed wave.
SUSTAIN IT: Bumble Spray de Mode, $15
Spray with Bumble and Bumble Spray de Mode or your favorite hair spray for lasting hold. To complete the look, use a bobby pin to secure hair behind one ear.
