The Look: Sofia Coppola in 2003
When weather.com tell you the "feels like" temperature is three degrees, you panic. But instead of panicking and putting on every article of clothing I own, I'm going to panic while simultaneously channelling Sofia Coppola's wintry outfit. With a giant furry jacket, half up, half down hair, stud earrings, and rosy cheeks, Coppola proves that being warm doesn't have to mean looking like the Michelin man. I'll take it.
The Face: Philosophy Purity Made Simple
As the weather continues its downward spiral, so does my skin. The only thing helping me hold it together is Philosophy's Purity face wash. It's so gentile and yet still manages to prevent breakouts and drying. If I could be in love with a beauty product, this would be the one.
The News: Prime Minister of Ukraine Resigns
The Ukranian Prime Minister,
Mykola Azarov, resigned from office earlier today as a bid to quell the protests and riots that have broken out in Kiev for weeks. No dramatic results have been seen in the social climate, and the opposition party leader, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who's election would have pleased rioters, has refused an offer to become the prime minister.
The Inspiration: Stephanie in Sea, 2000 by Juergen Teller
Because this is what I'd rather be doing: frolicking through the ocean in a red one piece.
The Song
:
Mmhmm, it's
still
not the weekend. So let a little of James Blake's melancholy R&B humming ease your pain.
