Solange Is The Face Of A New Michael Kors Campaign
Green is the new black
Leading up to NYFW, Michael Kors has dropped some major fashion news: a first-ever streetwear initiative. What's more, Solange Knowles has been tapped to represent the ready-to-wear campaign which is formally called The Walk.
“Solange is strong and passionate and not afraid to share her opinion with the world—and that type of confidence always makes an impact,” Kors told Billboard. “She’s a true trendsetter. I love how she takes some of our pieces and makes them her own.”
Decked out in emerald green like the true gem that she is, Solange is spotted rocking the best pieces from the ready-to-wear collection on the streets of New York. Photographed by Tommy Tan, all of the images are taken within neighborhoods located in Manhattan. If you're a resident of the Big Apple, these scenic shots will almost make you doubt it because each setting looks so serene.
In addition to Solange, the brand has also selected Soo Joo Park, Nina Agdal, and Princess Marie-Olympia of Greece as the other leading It Girls for the campaign. The interactive and shoppable platform for the campaign features anyone who uses the hashtag #SidewalkSpotted.
