There are two questions every girl asks of her beauty products: “Does it work?” and “Does it look pretty?” With Sonia Kashuk’s new line exclusively at Target, the answer to both of those questions is “yes.” Oh, and each item in Kashuk’s new Bath and Body range costs less than $20. If that’s not a win-win-win situation, I honestly don’t know what is.Kasuk’s new collection includes lotions, scrubs, body washes, and body butters in four fragrances that will keep your skin super soft despite the winter wind and imminent flurries. I’m especially psyched about the Purple Seductia Body Oil made with almond, cottonseed, and apricot oils and a Lipo Vitamin Complex, AKA the ultimate--and most luxurious--remedy for dry skin. New to Kashuk’s beauty oeuvre are four fragrances created in collaboration with perfumer Jerome Epinette of Robertet. The scents, Pink Innocencia (tuberose, magnolia, and amber), Purple Seductia (pomegranate, rose, patchouli), Yellow Alluriana (citrus, verbena, musk), and Red Promizia (sandalwood, jasmine, vanilla), are light and sweet-smelling, and come packages in hand-illustrated floral bottles. And yes, I’ve already spritzed myself with Red Promisia a couple of times this morning, because smelling of vanilla and jasmine is actually the best way to eviscerate those Monday blues. The illustrated florals that decorate the fragrance bottles continue throughout the rest of the collection’s packaging too. I know inner beauty is what really matters, but the outer beauty of these bottles will definitely improve the looks of your beauty cabinet and shower.
