Sigrid, Troye Sivan, + many more

by nylon

Every weekend, we bring you #SOUNDCHECK—your new destination for the best of the best new music that hit the web over the course of the week. Because you should always be prepared when someone passes you that AUX cord. This week’s round features 10 of our favorite emerging and established artists including Sigrid, Troye Sivan, and so many more. Turn up, tune in, and tune out.

"Raw" - Sigrid

It's a good week when Sigrid drops new material. "Raw" finds the Norwegian singer flexing her independence and sticking it to those who try to box her into something she isn't. Can't Sigrid live? Expect another new song next week and the week after next and the week after that. Sigrid's got a new project coming.

"Flaming Hot Cheetos" - Clairo

A bunch of human-sized Flaming Hot Cheetos take over Clairo's new minimal video. No complaints here!

"Strawberries & Cigarettes" - Troye Sivan

Troye Sivan lends a new, original song to the Love, Simon soundtrack that's nothing short of elated. This is what love feels and sounds like. Let the romance of this pop gem wash over you.

"So Cool" - Dounia

Dounia's new video, featuring one of our five incredible February cover stars, Gabrielle Richardson, is giving us serious '90s cult classic vibes.

"Let It Be" - Hayley Kiyoko

Hayley Kiyoko's debut album, Expectations, is coming and "Let It Be" is our latest taste. Oh yes, love is chaotic but Kiyoko makes it feel so good—even when it's ending.

"Showers" - Junglepussy

Junglepussy's latest is everything you want in a weekend-ready track: Soulful, swaggering, and full of breezy guitars.

"Hue/Nil" - SOHN

SOHN's new pair of downtempo tracks is the perfect addition to your laidback soirée or your Sunday spring cleaning regimen.

"Killa" - Alicai Harley

True pop aficionados will appreciate Alicai Harley. This sugary sweet gem will take you on a wild ride.

"Movin' On Up (Coco's Song, Love Beats Rhymes" - Azealia Banks

Is the world ready for Azealia Banks' return? Unclear, but what isn't is her undeniable talent and spitfire rhymes. "Movin' On Up" is Banks at her finest since Fantasea.

"Be Like You feat. Broods" - Whethan

Well, here's a collab we didn't see coming but are so glad it happened. Georgia Nott's falsetto adds a haunting chill to Whethan's already chilly beat under her. Nott may not want to be like someone, but this song makes us want to live inside it.
