SPOTTED

we investigate the new leopard print.

by liza darwin

If we've learned anything from street style blogs/ runway shows/ pretty much any clothing store, it's that no matter what's "in" this season, we can trust that leopard print will never go out of fashion.

But this Winter there's been a shift from literal cat spots to a morphed version that's slightly blurrier, fuzzed-out, and a refreshing change from the original. You could say A.P.C first got the ball rolling a few months ago with their abstract patterned Birkin sweaters, and now everyone from Louis Vuitton to Topshop is following suit. Whether it's a magnified design or an infusion of colors, it's obvious that the old-school leopard has officially met its modern match.

Check out our favorite neo-leopard picks below, and let us know- do you think this trend's got legs?
