STREET STYLE: GOVERNORS BALL

snaps from new york’s own wet’n’wild music festival!

by kirsten stamn

We can say one thing about Governor's Ball this year: The annual New York City music festival definitely wasn't boring. With torrential rains on Friday--which were crazy enough to get headliners Kings of Leon and Pretty Lights' sets canceled--the once grassy field of Randall's Island turned into a giant mud pit.

So what did our stylish festival-goers do? Put on their best impression of Kate Moss' wellie-chic at Glastonbury and get dirty! The brave wore white, the ambivalent went barefoot, and everyone showed off mile-long stems in short shorts and dresses.
