Behold: The First Song From The Epic ‘Suicide Squad’ Soundtrack Has Dropped

“Heathens” on the loose

Suicide Squad is going to be one of the most epic movies of the year, so the soundtrack had to live up to our high expectations. When Warner Bros. initially revealed the full 14-song tracklist, our minds were blown hard. I mean, look at that roster—Grimes, Kehlani, Skrillex... So badass. The first single from the flick came from music duo twenty one pilots in the form of "Heathens." When the audio was released over the weekend, it included snippets of footage from the film. Now the official music video is here.

Given the nature of this film, it only made sense to drop an action-packed visual to accompany the dynamic track. This video takes us to the streets of Belle Reve, the home base of the Suicide Squad, and the scene focuses on the inside of the prison complex where twenty one pilots get transported to.

This certainly revs up the intensity and has us even more impatient as we wait for Suicide Squad to hit theaters on August 5. Watch all the madness unfold in the video, below.
