surf club “swoon”

When talking about the Stockton California-based band Surf Club's sound we have to start by letting you know that they have a ".co.uk" -ending web address and a /surfclubca.com soundcloud address, which pretty much says it all. Not to try and genre-fy them but there's a bit of an English shoegaze vibe with a touch of that laid-back California surf wave that we're addicted to. This single "Swoon", which has been playing on repeat all day here at NYLON HQ, comes from a super limited split they just released with fellow East Bay-ers Manatee on Death Party Records.
