SZA Is Back On Top With ‘Love Galore’

‘CTRL’ is the next drop on TDE’s roster

by Sydney Gore

Back in February, we thought that SZA was finally dropping her long-awaited debut album CTRL when she launched an interactive website paired with a behind-the-scenes video. (We even asked her about the delay when we spoke to her about the Ivy Park SS17 campaign.) Alas, we're still waiting.

Lucky for us, then, there's some respite from that longing. Today, the singer-songwriter has surfaced with a sultry single titled "Love Galore" produced by thankgod4cody and Carter Lang. The track features Travis Scott and shines light on the pains of being a side piece. (Dust off your feelings, he's probably not worth the tears.)

"Why you bother me when you know you don't want me?/ Why you bother me when you know you got a woman?/ Why you hit me when you know you know better?" SZA demands in the pre-hook

The accompanying music video shows us a side of SZA that we've never seen before, as she and Travis Scott get busy in a master bedroom. In between their NSFW foreplay involving silk ribbons and fishnets, the artists are transplanted to a dark, empty room surrounded by orange monarch butterflies.

TDE's Tiffith confirmed that SZA's album will be the next release off the label so at least we know it's finally being prioritized. While we wait, SZA has been sharing photos of fans with CTRL tattoos. Get skrrting on these duds and watch the visual, above.
