Watch Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, and Christian Bale in The Big Short Trailer

Movies don't usually come big enough to fit a Mount Rushmore of actors like Christian Bale, Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, and Steve Carrell within their two hour runtime. But don't tell that to Adam Mckay, who not only cast all four leading men in his new financial dramedy, The Big Short, but outfitted all of them with some pretty snazzy wigs, too. 

The movie, which comes out this Christmas, is based on Michael Lewis' book of the same name, and tracks four outsiders who foresaw the collapse of the global economy and decided to do something about it when no one else would. Yes, this is ostensiby a movie about banking, but with that kind of cast, it looks electrifying. And although the trailer might make this cast look male-centric, not shown are actresses like Selena Gomez, Marissa Tomei, and Melissa Leo. We can't wait.
