Lawdy, lawdy, lawdy. I'm still trying to regain my thoughts because, as I said above, the greatest musical collaboration e v e r just happened and we need to talk about it. Or do we? Will it destroy the song's sacredness?! I can't tell which would be better—maybe we need to talk about this matter as well...Okay, trying to get back on track here...On "A Kiss Goodbye," Emilie Haynie does his production thing, Dev Hynes lays it down on guitar, Charlotte Gainsbourg serves some major etherial vocals, and Sampha takes on bone-chillingly sincere lead vocals. This is pure magic, people. And you need to listen to it over and over again because, as someone who has been doing so since yesterday afternoon, I can tell you it's just good for the soul.
