This Guy’s Cover Of “Chandelier” Will Make You Feel Things
what a voice
College student Jordan Smith, most likely just won The Voice during the show's premiere on Monday.
Clad in a plaid button-down, the Kentucky native performed Sia's hit song "Chandelier" on the talent competition, and to everyone's shock, proved that he has the voice of an actual, literal angel. His impressive falsetto and vocal flourishes were enough to get every judge in his corner—including Adam Levine, who hit his buzzer last, perhaps confused as to how this voice could even belong to a human being. Gwen Stefani was so overwhelmed with the performance that she ran up to the contestant as soon as he hit his last note, grabbing him in a huge bear hug.
This euphoric cover of "Chandelier" is enough to give you goosebumps, and though he's just made his debut on The Voice, we're hoping that Smith has plenty more music coming our way in the future.
