Tom Hiddleston’s Country-Singer Accent Will Make You Melt

Tom Hiddleston's velvety British voice may have allowed him to saunter into our hearts, but now, his latest role proves that with any accent, the actor is just as charming. For his upcoming role as music legend Hank Williams, Hiddleston gave fans a first look at his take on the country crooner with a small concert in Nashville—during which the Brit remained entirely in character.
Strumming along on his acoustic guitar, Hiddleston sang Williams classics like "Hey Good Lookin'" and "Why Don't You Love Me Like You Used To." And though we haven't heard Hiddleston sing much before (especially not as Loki in The Avengers), he nails it all, from long, doleful notes to his endearing country twang. The Williams biopic, I Saw The Light, opens nationwide on March 25—and this sneak peek is enough to have us marking our calendars.
More singing please, Hiddleston. More singing.
