How To Dress For In-Between Weather Like A Pro
For when it’s spring, but doesn’t quite feel like it
Spring is tricky. At the start of this transitional season, the days get longer and seemingly sunnier, but, half the time, it’s a total fake out and still absolutely freezing.
Sure, it may still be too cold for sundresses, but that doesn’t mean we can’t brighten things up a bit for this in-between season. Just because we’re not entirely ready to retire our sweaters doesn’t mean we have to let April’s showers (and, if you live on the East Coast, its random blizzards) rain on our parade.
What do we turn to? A bold trench coat, cozy pastel knits, and all the colorful metallic we can dream of. The overall message here is to keep it cheery—and don’t skimp on the color. Warm weather may not be here just yet, but it’s time to let go of that winter gloom.
Your guide to dressing for April’s in-between weather, in all its colorful glory, below.
