twinkies return

A few months ago we reported the rumor that Hostess, which went bankrupt and closed its doors last November, was in negotiations to be bought by un-named parties. Well we're stoked to announce that Apollo Global Management and Metropoulos & Co. successfully purchased Hostess and will be producing Twinkies as early as next month! Not only are we happy for the return of our beloved delicacy, but in all seriousness the re-opening of the Dolly Madison bakery facility (where the snack products are made) will create a boatload of jobs. The fear that our children would know of Twinkies only as legend is no more. Let the "Return of the Twinkies" party planning begin!
