Get your wallets ready: One of our favorite labels & Other Stories just launched another collaboration with Vans yesterday, just in time for summer.
The three-piece collection is all about the artist and their canvas, consisting of three iconic Vans skate styles interpreted with & Other Stories’ feminine, street style-focused aesthetic. The Slip-On and Old Skool are featured in a canvas-like linen material while the leather version of the Slip-On is decked out in an exclusive painterly print that mimics colorful brushstrokes, created by Pauline Abascal, the pattern designer at & Other Stories atelier in Paris.
“& Other Stories’ twist on Vans’ styles is all about canvas and colors this season. The inspiration comes from paintings, which lead to the idea to use canvas. Our three different versions range from clean canvas to vibrantly colored leather, almost like a piece of art that you can wear with anything,” Abascal said in a press release.
The brand launched their first collection with Vans last April, making the latest collection its second. The Canvas Slip-On, the Old Skool, and the Leather Slip-On all retail for $100, and are available now at & Other Stories.
Lately, & Other Stories has been killing it with their “Co-Lab” collections. After the much-anticipated release of their line with Rodarte, the brand has a fall 2016 collection with Zana Bayne on the way.
