vans and kenzo strike again!

by liza darwin

Thanks to Vans, we know that we can never have too many sneakers in our closet. And thanks to Kenzo, we'll always have an obsession with wildly eclectic prints (and tigers!). So what happens when two of our favorite–albeit very different–brands team up yet again on a collection of sneakers? Let's just cut to the chase and say the fifth time is definitely the charm.

For collection number five, the California-based shoe company has joined forces with designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon on a collab that fuses three of the most memorable prints from the Kenzo runway with Vans' casual, everyday lace-ups.

Kenzo's flying tigers, lightning, and cloud prints from Fall 2013 get splashed upon the Vans Slip-Ons, Authentics, and Chukkas, and cruise into stores like Kenzo, Opening Ceremony, and Colette soon. Perfect timing, because it's just in time for the members of the Kenzo fan club (i.e. us) to wear them as we check out what's stomping down the New York Fashion Week runways for next season
