Walk Off The Earth’s Music Video for Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off”
the ultimate taylor swift tribute.
With the recent news that Taylor Swift's entire catalogue of music has been removed from Spotify, it seems a lot of her fans are turning against her. That's not true for Canadian reggae rock five-piece Walk off the Earth though, who are obvi major T. Swift fans seeing as the Ontario-based musicians just made their own video version of "Shake it Off." The single, from Swift's latest record, 1989, hit number one on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart in its sixth week and came with a music video showing Swift dancing to different genres of music.
In Walk off the Earth's version, you won't find any booty or body shaking—instead, Gianni, Sarah, Ryan, Mike, and Joel sit on a beautiful beach for the entire song, while shaking maracas. The band's cover of the already super pumped-up song will definitely take you on cheer-y vacation, at least for three minutes and 15 seconds.
