Willow Smith may just be the coolest teen ever. Since whipping her back and forth five years ago, she’s become a fashion muse as one of the stars in Marc Jacobs’ latest campaign, helped the world make sense of her brother Jaden’s philosophies, and manages to squeeze in enough time to create weird, experimental music that breaks the mold.
For her latest trick, Smith teamed with musicians Crystal Mec, Tru, and Tyler Cole—who together go by the name of DIASPORA—to release a video for “Wit A Indigo.” And in true Willow Smith fashion, the song offers bold proclamations like and clever rhymes like “g is for genius” and “my sphere’s going lightyears.” The video itself is just as trippy, with Smith and her friends hanging out in Venice Beach against a psychedelic and surreal backdrop, and ending with a prayer circle, because why not?
