Everything You Need To Get Zoë Kravitz’s Catwoman Makeup Look
Recreate the Kravitz Cat Eye at home.
Leave it to legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath to the design the instantly classic looks behind Zoe Kravitz’s 2022 turn as Catwoman in The Batman. McGrath collaborated with the actress to create a modern twist on a classic cat eye, using three black eyeliners so the overall effect is smoldering, smudged and graphic—all at the same time. Paired with McGrath’s signature glowing skin look and the perfect matte lip, a new iconic version of Catwoman was born.

McGrath’s signature Skin Fetish Highlighter Balm gives a skin a candlelit glow.
A tawny peach blush was used on her cheeks for a natural flush.
Gentle shimmer was added around the eyes from McGrath’s first iconic eyeshadow palette.
When creating the eye look McGrath advises: “Start the look with a pencil eyeliner and draw the shape. What's great about starting with an eye pencil is that you can correct the shape and draw the outline before you fill it in.”
Add liquid liner for more of the classic cat eye effect.
The new smoldering Velvet Kohl eyeliner used on Kravitz in The Batman will be available to buy starting March 23.
For Kravitz’s soft, yet strong lip look, first the lips were lined with an on-trend brown lip pencil.
Then, her lips were filled in with a ’90s-inspired tawny neutral shade— the Pat McGrath Mattetrance Lipstick in 1995.
