Everlane Is Getting Into Athleisure With This New Product Launch

And it looks GOOD

Dreams do occasionally come true. Everlane is now diving into the world of athleisure with the release of its new Perform Legging, which, of course, already has a waitlist. The leggings come in a sleek, high-waisted fit, and are made from recycled fabric, keeping in line with the direct-to-consumer brand's sustainable ethos.

According to Everlane, leggings happened to be its most-requested item from customers, and the launch introduces a completely new category for the brand, which has become known for its sustainably-made denim, cashmere, and leather. Plus, with searches for "sustainable activewear" at an all-time high — up 151% compared to the previous year, notes Lyst's activewear 2020 trend report — the timing for Everlane couldn't be more perfect.

The Perform Legging, made from premium technical fabric from a renowned Italian mill, comes in a range of colors, from black to taupe to bright red, and at a comfortable price point of $58. (An accessible number compared to high-quality leggings that generally average around $100, about six to seven times more than their cost, says Everlane.) It's also available in sizes XXS through XXL and will be ready for purchase on January 22. Until then, you can sign up on their waitlist, which we recommend you do now because these will probably fly off the proverbial shelves.
