Spooky Spring Sneak Peek

For some of us, Halloween isn't just a once-a-year event where we are given a free pass to dress up like a slutty cat. For those among us whose sartorial style might lean a bit more goth (and certainly more fashion-forward), come spring, Jupe by Jackie has got you covered. Dutch designer, Jackie Villevoye, established her brand Jupe by Jackie in 2010 and has since distinguished itself through its hand-embroidered designs executed by master embroiderers in India. Jupe by Jackie is so at the top of their embroidering game that for the past four years, they have designed and created all the hand-embroidery for Rei Kawakubo’s Comme des Garçons Comme des Garçons ready-to-wear collections.

While making the rounds covering the spring 16 collections, we spotted this top and immediately fell in love. Sadly, it is not yet available, but good things come to those who wait. And frankly, what could be better than a hand-embroidered, skull-covered top to show your love of all things spooky and dark year 'round? So, just remember that October 31 will come and go, but take a tip from Ministry and don’t forget: “Everyday is Halloween,” and snatch this top up as soon as you can.
