Margot Robbie Wore Feathers And Hot Pink Gloves To The 'Birds Of Prey' Premiere
I have, unfortunately, passed away
The Suicide Squad spin-off Birds of Prey premiered in London on Wednesday night, and judging from all of the red carpet looks, this cast is not messing around. Margot Robbie (the film's Harley Quinn), Rosie Perez, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and more delivered some serious looks, but it was Robbie who shook me to my core in a Dries Van Noten look from the luxury label's Spring 2020 collection.
The ensemble was comprised of a fur-detailed top, silk skirt, and hot pink silk gloves. I gasped, I cried, I opened a savings account to get the full look for myself. I will wear it to my wedding, funeral, and any other momentous occasions that should arise between the two.
Robbie wasn't the only one to bring it, though. Perez wore a shimmering jumpsuit while 13-year-old newcomer Ella Jay Basco wore a billowing custom Meehee Hanbok gown and hot pink eyeshadow. (The traditional garment was an ode to Basco's Korean roots.) Smollett-Bell also hopped on the feather train, wearing a sheer black top with a patent leather skirt, adorned with a feathered bottom, by Guy Laroche. Winstead opted for a velvet red gown by Zuhair Murad, which she paired with a clutch shaped like a dice.
