Justine Skye's Second H&M Collection Will Get You Ready For Festival Season

We're swapping crochet tops and denim cut-offs for lots of neon

by Erika Harwood

After releasing a Brooklyn-inspired collection in November 2019, Justine Skye is collaborating with H&M again. Her second release for the fast-fashion brand is designed with festival-goers in mind, with an emphasis on sporty and comfortable 'fits and lots of neon.

Skye worked with her stylist Ade Samuel on designing the pieces, which include bike shorts, a metallic windbreaker, and a neon organza short-and-shirt set. The campaign itself was shot by Tyler Mitchell, of Beyoncé Vogue September cover fame.

"With this festival collection, we wanted something that was new and fresh to the festival scene. Usually festival is very boho so we thought the pieces should represent something different," Skye said in an official statement. "I'm a big advocate for being comfortable no matter what – that's how I feel empowered through my look. When you go to a festival, you're always moving around so I created pieces that were comfortable but still extremely cute and all goes together."

With festival season in mind, of course accessories are included. The collection has neon bucket hats, as well as a bandana scarf (perfect to keep the desert dust at bay if you have plans to attend Coachella). The collection will be available both online and at H&M stores starting March 12, giving you plenty of time to grab what you want before hitting the music festival circuit.
