How Stephanie Shojaee Is Helping Shape The Future Of Miami — One Development, And Episode, At A Time

Power, heels, and high-rises - Stephanie Shojaee is redefining real estate leadership in Miami’s hottest zip codes.

Stephanie Shojaee knows how to navigate a construction site in four-inch heels. She also knows how to lead a multibillion-dollar real estate company, close nine-figure deals, and anticipate where Miami’s next breakout neighborhood will be. Her aesthetic on Real Housewives of Miami might scream fashion week, but her track record reads like a masterclass in long-term vision and execution.

As President of Shoma Group, Shojaee is steering one of South Florida’s most influential development firms into a new era — one that blends real estate strategy with cultural fluency and brand clarity. And while her name has recently become more familiar to pop culture audiences through her full-time cast role on The Real Housewives of Miami, her rise has little to do with the spotlight and everything to do with smart, calculated leadership.

Shojaee joined Shoma Group over a decade ago and quickly moved into executive roles, helping shape everything from leasing strategies to project-level marketing. However, it’s in the last several years — since becoming president — that her vision has most clearly materialized. She’s not just scaling the company’s footprint; she’s refining its direction, along with her husband Masoud Shojaee, CEO and Founder of Shoma Group.

Take Shoma Village, a 226-unit multifamily community in Hialeah. When others saw a low-key residential district, Shojaee saw opportunity. She oversaw its positioning as a lifestyle-forward community with premium finishes, curated retail, and high leasing velocity. Within eight months of opening, the project was fully occupied — and soon after, it sold for almost $100 million, sending a clear message to investors: overlooked neighborhoods are no longer off the map.

If Shoma Village was about recognizing untapped value, Shoma Bay is about setting the tone for what’s next. Rising in North Bay Village — a quiet waterfront community tucked between Miami and the Beach — the 24-story condo project is the first of its kind in the area. It features resort-style amenities, panoramic water views, and a walkable integration with retail anchored by a prominent grocery chain. Groundbreaking is slated for this month, and over 50% of units have already sold.

“We develop with lifestyle in mind,” Shojaee explains. “We don’t just sell square footage — we create environments people want to belong to.”

Shojaee is deeply involved in every phase of the process, from layout reviews to branding, marketing, and buyer engagement. Her sharp eye for design and experience in market psychology give Shoma an edge — one that’s as much about feeling as it is about numbers.

While she’s now appearing weekly on national television, she remains rooted in the day-to-day demands of running a company. “Reality TV is a platform,” she says, “but business is still the priority.”

Shojaee is part of a new wave of female executives who aren’t afraid to be seen, heard, and styled without compromising substance. Whether she’s overseeing construction or appearing at fashion week, she’s making a statement: real estate leadership doesn’t have to look one way. It can be smart, stylish, and entirely its own.

As Shoma Bay rises and new projects enter the pipeline, Stephanie Shojaee is proving that you don’t have to choose between presence and power. In Miami, she’s building both.
